Last Christmas Tony slept in a doorway.
This Christmas, please help us give him, and so many others like him, the safe shelter and vital support they need.
“I don’t think I can survive another Christmas on the street.”
Those are the words of a man named Tony, who has spent the last two Christmases sleeping in a doorway in Dublin city centre.
It’s heartbreaking to think, but this wonderful and kind-hearted man is genuinely terrified that he may not make it through the winter alive. And he is not alone.
Right now, there are thousands of people trapped in homelessness and hundreds sleeping on our streets who have no idea how they will survive cold months ahead without a home or the help and support of kind and caring people like you.
Nobody should ever be forced to sleep on the street or have to huddle in doorways to try and find some shelter.
Your gift of a hot meal, a warm bed and safe shelter will help someone who is homeless survive this Christmas.
You can help save lives, 24-hours a day 365 days a year
Tonight, Dublin Simon’s Outreach teams will walk the city, seeking out people sleeping rough and offering vital care and support. Every night, they reach between 90 and 150 people of all ages, providing help, hope, and a pathway to essential services.
By becoming a monthly donor, you’ll help ensure that these vital services continue throughout Christmas and beyond.
Our team can be reached at 01 671 5551 during our office hours, which run from Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30.
Alternatively, you can choose to send your donation by post to:
