The R.E.A.C.H Project

The R.E.A.C.H Project is Dublin Simon Community’s recovery support service for people moving forward from addiction and homelessness.

The initiative is designed to offer flexible, stage-appropriate supports throughout our two year recovery programme, meeting people where they are on their journey. Recovery is not a single event but a long-term, deeply personal process, this integrated model allows people to remain connected to recovery supports as they move through different services and into their own homes.

Our Aim

Our aim is to provide a safe, supportive and progressive recovery pathway that promotes long-term recovery, supports people to exit homelessness, helps people sustain tenancies and enhances quality of life. ‘The R.E.A.C.H Project’ is not about ongoing support: it is about ongoing growth, empowering people to drive their own recovery for as long as they need.

Our Approach

The R.E.A.C.H Project is underpinned by the Community Reinforcement Approach (CRA) and a recovery capital framework. This means we focus not only on reducing substance use, but on helping people build a meaningful, rewarding life in recovery.
