Dublin Simon Emergency Accommodation

EmergencyHarcourt Street - Dublin

Our emergency shelter on Harcourt Street is a low threshold supported temporary accommodation which provides accommodation for 30 single men, single women and couples who are homeless.

The service is open 24/7. People who are homeless can be referred for a night or can stay for up to six months when they are referred to a long-term bed. Residents are provided with breakfast, an afternoon meal and snacks are available throughout the day. Click for additional information on our Emergency Accomodation Service.

Referrals

Referrals to our emergency shelter are made through the Central Placement Service (CPS). Please click for additional information on the Central Placement Service. The CPS is located at Parkgate Hall, 6-9 Conygham Road, Dublin 8.

Kilmantin Hill - Wicklow

Kilmantin Hill Supported Temporary Accommodation operates on a 24-hour basis working with people currently experiencing homelessness from the County of Wicklow. The service provides a full suite of programmes and activities to each person experiencing homelessness to meet their care and support needs. All residents are assigned a dedicated keyworker to deliver a specific support plan.

In addition and where appropriate the Simon Community works with and facilitates dedicated programmes that address the issues relating to the residents' lifestyle, health needs, wellbeing, training, education and other life skills requirements. These include addressing literacy and numeracy issues, entitlements, household budget managemnet, food preparation and diet and nutritional issues. They keyworking service also links the residents in with mainstream healthcare, welfare, education and training services as required.
