Primary Care Nursing Team

The primary care nursing team was established to reduce barriers to accessing healthcare for homeless clients. We currently have five nursing posts and a clinical nurse manager, including specialist roles in Women’s Health and Tissue Viability, alongside a mix of general and mental health nursing posts, the team provides a broad range of skills to meet diverse client needs.

We do not require a referral form, as our primary goal is to make healthcare accessible. We are happy to see any client residing in the services we cover.

We support clients in Dublin Simon Community Emergency Housing and Level 1 Long Term Accommodation to access appropriate treatment and care for medical, mental health, or addiction issues, and to provide health education and promotion tools for both clients and staff within DSC Housing Services.
