Join Dublin Simon Community in their fundraising efforts this Christmas and YULE raise not just spirits but vital funds for our most vulnerable in society.

Each year ‘Sing for Simon’ brings together over 100 groups and choirs who sing Christmas carols and songs in various locations across Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow, Meath, Louth, Monaghan and Cavan. This year with restrictions lifting- we are hoping that Sing for Simon will be back to its former glory and see all of us come together and have a strong presence on the streets of Dublin again!

We will of course be in line with government guidelines for the safety of our volunteers and choirs, while still enjoying ourselves and raising much needed funds for those experiencing homelessness. We would love to hear from you and/or your singing group and how we can make Sing for Simon 2021 a success!

There are plenty of ways to get involved this year:

Sing for Simon: Choirs, companies, schools, and even groups of friends can join in the musical fun by Singing for Simon. While groups might be on the smaller side than in previous years, the singing remains the same. Gather your group and arrange your carol singing event in your local area, or use one of our pre-booked locations! We’ll provide the Santa hats and buckets, you bring the tunes and festive cheer!

Virtual Sing for Simon: Sing for Simon can also go virtual this year, if you would prefer to sing from the comfort of your home/community hall. Get techy, and record your choir singing their hearts out at home instead. Our how to guide has all the tips and tricks to get you up and recording in no time.

Simon 24-Hour Carolathon (16th and 17th December): Our 24-hour Carolathon begins on the 16th of December on Grafton Street. We need lots of bucket shakers to support the choirs throughout Friday and Saturday. If you can help on your own or with a small group, we’d love to hear from you!
