Dublin Simon Community Shortlisted for Prestigious Community Housing Award

Dublin Simon Community is delighted to be shortlisted in the ICSH/Allianz Community Housing Awards 2021 for a recently opened 20-bed extension at Chester House.

The new development is an extension of an existing 22-bed service, with an additional 20 en-suite units tucked away in a quiet location off Dublin’s North Circular Road. 

 The facility has been designed for the specific needs of residents, combining comfortable and private accommodation with shared social, recreational and therapeutic areas.  All new bedrooms are accessible and there are catering and laundry facilities on-site.  Additionally, a landscaped courtyard garden provides a peaceful outdoor space. 

 Dublin Simon Community staff support residents with life skills, health and welfare, education and training to increase their ability to maintain independent or semi-independent living. 

Winners will be announced at an event on 23rd September.
