Making home a reality
Every donation provides critical support and hope to people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

With over 14,000 people homeless nationally in 2024, your support has never been more important.

As of September 2024, over 10,400 people were recorded as homeless in the Dublin region. These numbers are increasing every day, with more individuals and families having to face the harsh reality of life without the safety of a home. Whether it’s rising rent costs, family conflict or illness – the causes of homelessness are as complex as the journey to housing and stability.

The generosity of Dublin Simon supporters allows us to continue our work to help people who are exposed to or experiencing homelessness. From long-term accommodation to street outreach and trauma counselling, your donations fund vital Dublin Simon services that make a much-needed difference.

Our vision is to make home a reality for allwith your help, we can do it together.

Your support makes a difference in battling the worst housing crisis in 50 years.

We are grappling with the worst homelessness and housing crisis we have seen in over 50 years of service provision as the rising cost of living and a shrinking rental market push more and more people into a situation they never thought they would be in. It is only with our generous supporters that we can continue to be there for all those who come to our door.

Thanks to your generosity, we have been able to help people experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Dublin, Wicklow, Kildare, Meath, Louth, Cavan & Monaghan by providing services like emergency accommodation, addiction treatment, and counselling.

During these unprecedented times we must all keep doing what we can to help the most vulnerable people in our society. A home provides a level of safety that everybody should be entitled to, and thanks to your support we can keep making this a reality for more people each day.

Why do we ask for monthly donations?

Monthly donations provide us with a stable foundation to continue our essential work to prevent and address homelessness.

A monthly commitment to Dublin Simon Community not only provides us with the resources to address the urgent needs of vulnerable people, but also allows us to plan for the future and create lasting change in the lives of people and families experiencing homelessness.
