Alcohol Detox

Our aim is to provide a safe, supportive, medically assisted detoxification programme to allow individuals to address their addictions, primarily alcohol, so as to move out of homelessness.

We Do This By:

The Program

The detox unit is an eleven bedded unit, with 24 hour nursing cover on site and visiting GP’S five days a week. The programme is 21 days maximum with the first 10 days concentrated on a medically assisted physical detox from alcohol. The next 11 days are spent attending self development groups and keyworking sessions which focus on alcohol use, move-on options and the achievement of your set goals and targets.

Two beds are ring fenced for individuals who are stable on methadone and want to detox from alcohol. Also one place (if required) is available for benzodiazepine detox for individuals on the alcohol detox programme.
