Part-Time Volunteering

We recruit part-time volunteers on a quarterly basis throughout the year, January, May and September.

Part Time volunteers take on roles in our soup run, social club, treatment and housing services and charity shops.

All volunteers are provided with induction and training on commencement of their roles with Dublin Simon Community. Further training is provided throughout the course of the part-time volunteer placement to support volunteers in their duties.

Currently throughout our services we have nearly 200 part-time volunteers. This figure does not include the many additional casual volunteers that assist with fundraising and events throughout the year.

Part-time volunteers must be 18+ and give 3 – 7 hours one evening a week for a minimum commitment of 1 year.
